About me

The picture above is on my property where I live and where I have my massage practice. Being surrounded by nature is a constant reminder that there is much more to life than an often distracting world dominated by technology.

I became a massage therapist later in life, almost as a second career, which has now become a defining part of who I am and what I love to do. I graduated from the Finger Lakes School of Massage, Ithaca New York,  in 2015. My specialties include most modalities, including stress relief through Relaxation and Swedish techniques, deep tissue work, Neuromuscular Therapy, Oncology Massage and Manual Lymphatic Drainage. 

I earned my second certification later that year as a Complete Lymphatic Therapist, nationally certified, through Monarch Continuing Education in Christiansburg,Virginia. I have lectured at Lourdes Cancer Care Center in Binghamton on Lymphedema and am fortunate to be a cancer survivor myself. For this reason alone I truly understand the rigors of cancer therapy and am always willing to support those suffering with this devastating disease in a professional as well as a personal capacity.
